I received a very nice poker chip set. The chips are a nice color, weight and is a good size set. However I know I got what I paid for. The set is not full weight or has bright colors that a more costly set would have. The chips have a nice finish but not the glossy smoothness either. But again the set I received is good and we'll have many, many hours of fun playing. I'm satisfied.

Very, very nice set! The extra value with this set is the additional $500 and $1000 chip denonimations. The chips are a nice solid weight and the carrying case is excellent. No, the chips are not glossy but this really, IMO, isn't important. They handle well, whereas glossy finish chips would be slippery and not stack easily. The finish is flat which I've found is common in most casinos, if not the majority, for the reasons I've stated. This really is a beautiful set and well-worth the money. A great value.

For the money this is by far the nicest poker set you can buy! I searched lots of web sites and discount poker shop has some of the best prices out there. With everything in life you get what you pay for, with that being said this is a great beginner set. If you are looking for something extravagant you might want to pay a little extra and upgrade, but if price is what your focused on you won't be disappointed with this set!

I was tired of playing with plain poker chips and wanted a set with denominations on them. These chips for the money are really nice, very colorful with high dollar denominations. They do kind of have that plastic feel to them but like I said for the money this is a great set! Discount poker shop is by far the cheapest place I have found yet and shipping was very fast and packaged very well! I will definitely buy from here again!
